Dating from the late seventeenth-century, this rare, salvaged wooden sculpture of three angels was originally part of a boiserie ensemble (probably from a chapel or church). A lovely piece to display in a curiosity cabinet or on open shelves. Note the sweet puffy cheeks.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
